Homeward Bound is a global initiative for women with a STEMM background across all career stages. The online program is the gateway into a global network of women who share the same sense of purpose and skills for the kind of leadership our world needs.

To date over 500 women in  STEMM have joined the Homeward Bound program. Justine co-founded the initiative with Fabian Dattner, Professor Mary-Anne Lea, Dr Jess Melbourne-Thomas. She has travelled to Antarctica on three voyages (HB1, HB2, HB4), sharing with the women her knowledge on all things STEMM, leadership, conservation and Antarctica. She has been part of the teaching faculty since 2016, and continues to contribute to the initiative in a volunteer capacity.
